Fleet Fuel Index is a comparison website run by Angela Gunn in New Zealand. This page explains what personal information the site collects and what happens to it. Last updated 23 October 2026.
What we collect
- Newsletter sign-up. If you subscribe, we collect the email address you enter. Nothing else is asked for.
- Emails you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message.
- Nothing else. The site has no accounts, no comments and no forms other than the newsletter sign-up. The fleet calculator and comparison filters run in your browser; what you enter is not sent to us.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Fonts, flags and images are served from this site, not from third parties.
The newsletter (Kit)
The sign-up form sends your email address directly to Kit (formerly ConvertKit), the email service we use to send the newsletter. Kit stores your address, sends you a confirmation email, and records whether emails are delivered and opened. Kit may store data outside New Zealand. See Kit's privacy policy. We use your address only to send the newsletter. We never sell or share it. Every email has an unsubscribe link, or you can email us to be removed.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and browser details to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Links to other sites
We link to fuel card issuers, On-Site fuel providers and other sources. Their websites have their own privacy policies, which apply once you leave this site.
Your rights
Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct or delete it. Email us and we'll respond. If you're not happy with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
